A couple of months back, I started using my glasses in school. Though at times, I still feel uncomfortable wearing it in class whenever I'm scribbling down my notes, at least I felt like some sort of modern day genius (just goofing). But during one of my morning classes, a block mate of mine blatantly said in class:
"Uy Joshua! Kamukha mo na si Kuya Rob, kapag nakasalamin ka!"
(Hey Joshua! You look like kuya Rob with your glasses on!)
Sure, it was nothing for me. We (well, I think I do) have chinky eyes, and so it didn't matter much and shrugged the comment.
But then another one said:
"At saka kapag naglalakad ka! Parehas na parehas kayo! Ginagaya mo ba siya?"
Oh yes. My ears twitched. I explained to my fellow chemistry majors that we are two individuals, unique in one way or another. I just can't find any reason to label me as someone who 'idolizes' someone that much. That's to insane, I think.
We just had a couple off things in common:
1. We both love reading books.
